Playing at just slightly over 7,000 yards from the back tees the Club Campestre San Jose is the most recent golf course to open in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. This golf course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and features some of the best views of the Sea of Cortez of any golf course in the area.
The large fairways and original undulating greens will amaze and confound golfers as they play the golf course. The Club Campestre San Jose meanders through seaside holes, plains and mountain areas.
The golf course uses a special strain of grass, Paspalum SeaIsle, on both the fairways and tees. This is a great grass that has been shown to be resistant to the adverse effects of seawater. This will ensure that this golf course is in great condition no matter what time of year you are visiting.
Unlike many other Nicklaus golf courses, the par-3’s are reasonable and the par-5’s are all of medium length. The next time you are in Los Cabos you need to check out the Club Campestre San Jose.
